Im getting a ps3 250gb slim and want to know how does it connect to the internet wireless?
I have a sky hub downstairs and a netgear wireless router plugged into my usb port that connects my computer to my hub (and the internet)wireless. Hope this helps when answering.

And that second answer doesnt help! ot the same ps3 and whats a modem? all i have is a ps3, sky hub DOWNSTAIRS (so has to be wireless) and a netgear wireless router in my computer that connects to the hub and then the internet through the hub!!!

1 Go to your Router and look at the combination of Numbers/Letters (Should be on the back of your router) and write that down.
2. Go on your ps3 and go to internet settings and begin to put them in
3. For eveything, Leave each settings and just go next, next, next etc.. until your reach something where it will ask you for a code.
4. In the WPA section place this code in.
5. After that keep on going next again until you reach the end.
6. it will have a connection settings test to see if it is ok.
7. if it isnt okay, then the spot where you put the code in WPA, put that code into the WEP. And repeat steps 5-7.
This will work
