I want fast transfers, only taking up one usb port on my computer, and external power. this is kind of urgent since the one from tiger direct ends on 2/28
Both are the same specifications including speed. You must realize though, that when you have a hub, you must realize that the speed is always going to be divided.
I do say go for the cheaper one. If not, try to price match it down from Wal Mart or other stores.
