My friend is a tall girl who could have easily become a model. She has sharp features, specially her eyes. She is a bit shy with total strangers and do not open up to people easily.

Most people, even strangers give her a smile when they talk to her. Her voice is quite low and we friends think it is sexy. It sounds like a child's voice sometimes. She is has a very expressive face and it is easy to read her feelings from her face. She is sensitive, emotional and passionate about many things yet she is also shy. Most of our friends are very outgoing while she is shy when we go out. Sometimes I think this is not exactly shyness rather politeness and cautiousness.

Anyway she was asking me why people (mainly guys) give her this 'generous' kind a smile when they talk to her? It is like they are caring and kind towards her. Although most women do this too, some women are not so nice to her.

I am wondering what to say to her about this. Any ideas?
