PC question #3. on my SONY PCG-Z505R there is a "mini usb " port.?
anyone know where i could get a cable to convert that into a full sized useable usb port? i don't even know what to call it to do a search...

only it's more squared off, in other words sony's way of making things difficult.
like i said, the cable i posted the ebay url for, has a rounded top edge, where as the sony mini usb port is more square. i am damn close to taking a VERY small pair of needle nose pliars and "modifying" the darn cable i already have. in this matter sony has pissed me off.
Looks like Sony is ahead of the curve in miniaturization.
All you need is the mini-B to full-size USB converter cable you found on eBay, plug the full-size USB port into a 4-port USB 2.0 Hub (for about $10-$20). Now you can plug you old USB cables or devices (like USB key) into the HUB. Get a hub with curve sides, like the ULTRA PRODUCTS 4 Port USB 2.0 Hub ($20 from Amazon) because it gives the ports more room so you can fit USB devices side-by-side.
