MP3 players, Ipods? I have no idea what to buy my hubby. storage size?whats the difference? Advice please?
I am so behind with that stuff. The link below has a cheap one (i dont want to spend much, because it will get trashed at his work anyway) and it has 1GB storage. How many songs is this roughly?

OK lets see here....
First off the only difference between this one and one with a usb plug built in, is that this one will have a cable where the other unit plugs directly into the PC. So no real big deal there.
This has a rechargeable battery so that means no having to buy AAA batteries every week or so. Bad news, its gotta be plugged up to the PC or a power adapter (bought separately) to charge.
As for the songs, well this one will hold about 250 songs. It all depends on how much memory each song takes up. They will list it holding something like 1000+ songs, but no one saves a song that small because the quality very noticeably bad.
As for loading the music, it will usually use a common program already on your PC, like windows media player. If you get a more expensive named player, like Ipod then they will provide the program needed to load the music. From there, its basically just drop and drag to build the list.
