Is A Wireless USB Adaptor Dongle The Same As A Bluetooth Dongle?
I use a usb dongle so I can employ a second PC in another room.
However, is this the same as a bluetooth dongle, that would allow me to transfer files between mobile phone and PC?

no it isn't, your wireless dongle sounds like you are using it to wirelessly connect two computers (via the router?) and the dongle is just a wireless send and recieve device on a specific frequency range. A bluetooth dongle is a similar concept in that it can send and recieve but it operates on a different frequency range so that there is no interference between the various wireless and bluetooth devices. There is no overlap of frequencies so you would need two dongles if transfering data solely via Blurtooth. Assuming you have a data transfer cable for your phone you can download the data from the phone to one computer then send the file from one computer to the other via you wireless dongle as you would with any other file.
